The indigenous Mapuche family, Kila Leufu, invite you to ride at our ranch, 25km east of Pucón.
We offer guided horse rides for half a day, a full day, and overnight trips of three days, or even longer if you wish. Here you can enjoy the stunning views of volcanoes Villarrica, Lanin and Quetropillan while passing by rivers and lakes, and the local vegetation and fauna. The tours begin at our typical Mapuche home (Ruka), and along the way we offer you the opportunity to learn about our indigenous culture.
People of all level of experience are able to ride our well-trained Criollo horses, and enjoy the natural beauty of our region.

HORSE RIDES

Mapuche Tour (approx. 4 hours, min. 2 people) $16.000 pesos

Setting out from our farm, in a scenic valley overlooking volcanoes Villarrica, Lanin and Quetropillan, this tour is the perfect opportunity to spend a few hours at the farm and visit an outstanding, deep-green lagoon called “Carralafquen”. You will be able to enjoy the beauty of the Mapuche landscape, and wander through native forestry.
We provide a picnic on the shores of the lagoon, and you can even take a swim if you feel like it! This short tour is ideal for relaxing, taking photographs, and catching a glimpse of the life we lead in the Chilean countryside.

Lake Tour (approx. 6 hours, min. 2 people) $21.000 pesos

Leaving after breakfast, this peaceful route takes us along old Mapuche trails, where we enjoy a glorious view of the three volcanoes Villarrica, Lanin and Quetropillan. As we continue through the picturesque countryside, we will see three beautiful lakes and observe the local wildlife.
We will end our trip with a relaxing swim at the hot springs of San Luis. ($5.000 pesos entrance fee not included in the lake tour price above)

Waterfalls Tour (approx. 7 hours, min 2 people) $23.000 pesos

This excursion takes us by the crystal clear waters of the river Palguin, and allows you to appreciate the beauty of native Chilean woodland. We picnic beside the 73m high falls of “La China”, where, if you are brave you can have a cool swim in the waterfall pools.
