Skiing
on the Volcano
Imagine skiing the powder of an active volcano with tantalising
views of the Chilean Lake District flashing away below you.
This is what tempts so many people to test out the slopes of
Volcano Villarrica during the winter months of June to September.

More
adventurous skiers can climb up to the crater that belches
sulphurous gases before shooting down through the snow
and volcanic ash. The ski area is 18km from Pucón;
POLITUR will provide you
with the transport to reach it, |
the
equipment to ski/snowboard it, and, if necessary, an instructor
to make it possible.
