Huerquehue
Trekkers´ Paradise
A five-hour trek through this stunning national park. Huerquehue
has a unique array of fauna and flora including pumas, condors,
majestic fir trees and woodpeckers. The trekking route will
lead you

| through
reserves of thousand year-old araucania trees and cascading
waterfalls. There are beautiful views over to Lake Tinquilco
and Volcano Villarrica. Up high, the circuit takes you round
three crystal-clear lakes where snowy mountains and forest-covered
hillsides stand sentinel over the turquoise waters. In winter,
when the park´s 19 lakes freeze over it is a trekker´s
